Can Fedora 3 be installed without destroying Windows partitions?

I've done it numerous times using Symantec PartitionMagic® Pro. If you mess up you can insert the Windows CD, press "R" for "repair", choose "1" for Windows, hit enter for the administrator password (assuming you haven't set one already), type "fixmbr" to restore the original Windows master boot record, and then type "diskpart" and delete the non Windows partitions. Then you can start all over again.
